Why choose us you ask? Well, firstly we pride ourselves on 5 star reviews, meaning each & every customer is happy. We work with the client (yeah that’s you!) to create not only the food but the ambience from a fine dining romantic dinner for 2 or perhaps a rocking 21st birthday party for 200 people! The menu therefore changes with the demographic & so does the ambience.

Growing up in a house is one thing but a home smells like lamb shanks & pearl barley soup, especially in the winter or Mum’s crispy roast potatoes. In the summer it smelt like my dads mussels we’d collect off the local pier (in white wine, lashings of butter, parsley and a hint of saffron), they were the smells of my childhood.

I found every house had a smell; like my neighbours house always smelt of middle eastern rice, even when it wasn’t on the stove. In my early twenties I begged her to teach me how it was done only to be so surprised that it was only three ingredients but my God how good it tasted! In our house my father was a chef and my mother was an amazing home cook, The house always smelt of one thing, love. Looking back I didn’t see it at the time but to create the food they created you needed patience, passion & a love for good food. When people leave your life, food can play an amazing role to evoke and bring back many emotions & beautiful memories & that my friends is what food is about to me.

When I met my partner Natalie, I shared all my family recipes & those that I learnt from those closest to me, we also dined at our favourite restaurants and it wasn’t long until we were a family with Henry now 7 & Mia, 6. Fancy restaurants and going out became difficult & family restaurants were always so mediocre & over priced. I decided to turn our dining room table into our own restaurant & start serving the best food we’d had in years, it was then when it became relevant that I could do this for so many other people that don’t want to leave their house for whatever reason or the fact you love to entertain, it always tastes better in your own home! Dinners with Jimmy was born & it’s in my best interest to leave you with a lifetime of memories.
